"Tiffany, you have exceeded my expectations. When I
began working with you, I didn’t think I’d ever play softball
again because of all the negative thoughts and fears I had. Now, I realize
I have every reason to get back out there and succeed. I know I can do
it.”
~R.F.,
adult softball player
Our players have really responded to your mental training.
The boys have been asking, ‘When is Tiffany coming back?’ They
really enjoy your sessions, and are learning a lot from them. In the
last game, our goalie played out of his gourd, better than ever. And
he attributed it to using visualization.
~Matt Noyes, soccer coach, Westenhook United
My competition was fabulous. My best skate ever—thanks to you. Before
every jump, I said to myself, ‘I can do this jump, I’ve got
this jump.’ And it worked! I landed every one!
~Competitive figure skater
I was amazed. You really engaged the boys, and at their
age, that’s
hard to do. I learned a lot and know they did, too. Thank you.
~Assistant coach, Saratoga Blue Streaks Hockey
Tiff, you should get a gold medal for this season. You came in and did
exactly what they needed. Now they are right where they need to be going
into the tournament playoffs.
~Brian Lamb, baseball coach
These are really life skills, and to see my son learning how to wipe away
the pressure, to handle the pressure better, just thrills me.
~Father of BMX rider
I want you to know that the stuff you’ve been doing has really been
helping me. And it’s helping me not just in soccer, but in school,
too. Setting goals has really helped me to work hard and apply myself,
to really give full effort. It makes a big difference.
~Ian Trancynger, Soccer goalie
Thank you, Tiffany. You are the best instructor I’ve
ever had.
~High school hockey player
Thank you so much for the talks you gave at the beginning
of the year. They
have helped my team so very much. My Level 7's are YMCA Tri-State
Champions and are very excited and determined to do well at Regionals and
Nationals; which in part, I believe, you had something to do with. I
know that I will bring you in again at the beginning of the season for
more of your talks.
~Kelly Clevenger, Head Gymnastics Coach, Greenfield Tumbling Tigers
Kristen did very well at the competition in Virginia Beach. She did two
standing tucks in the routine and landed them! She and I are much appreciative
of you and your help, Tiffany!
~Mother of competitive cheerleader
We came to you after my daughter had had a terrible
competition and was feeling very down on herself, Now, she’s much more confident and
really believes in her ability to skate at a high level. Regardless of
how she fares at this upcoming competition, I couldn’t be happier.
What more could a mother want than to see her daughter feeling good about
herself?
~Mother of competitive figure skater
I just got out of graduate student seminar and wanted
to let you know the student response to your presentation last week.
This is simple—when
I asked their impressions, the unanimous response was "EXCELLENT!".
They all found it to be extremely informative and valuable for their professional
development. They thought your tips were most helpful and thoroughly enjoyed
your presentation style.
From my perspective, you did a great job…Your talk was inspiring
and energetic…Thank you, again, for taking the time to prepare your
talk and share it with us. Best of luck with your future endeavors. I'm
sure we'll hear about more of your clients' "winning ways" in
the news.
Most sincerely,
~Betsy Keller, Professor, School of Health Sciences and Human Performance,
Ithaca College
I thought the workshop was great. She made it concise
and the information was easy to apply and understand. I enjoyed it very
much.
~Sarah Oliver, Captain, Cornell University women's
hockey team
I thought about all the techniques
that I was taught
and achieved my much wanted backwalk over
on the
high
beam.
~Lauren Phillips, gymnast
When the [players] come out of work everyday
and feel
they've accomplished something everyday, it's
going to
build their confidence over time. They feel
empowered
to go out there and change their destiny because
you've given them the tools.
~Gary Gilchrist, Director,
David Leadbetter Golf Academy
Bradenton, FL
When we're at the events, I make [the skaters]
sit
down at a bench, close their eyes, and visualize
going
through their entire routine. I am a firm
believer in
visualization. I do it in everything now.
~Elizabeth Manley,
1988 Winter Olympic Silver Medalist, figure
skating. Currently a skating coach.
I visualized myself doing my flyaway off
the uneven
bars and I did it!
~Tasha Jones, MA state gymnastics champion
That
stuff about blocking out distractions
worked! I
stuck my beam routine, did my back handsprings
in my
floor routine, and got 7th place!
~Brittany
Gingras, gymnast
This information is very
useful. I learned a lot
about visualization. I thought I knew
it all, but I
had been visualizing completely
wrong.
~Jennifer Borncamp,
Cornell University Varsity volleyball player
Often,
I want to train more than once a day but
can't, either because of school
work or the fact that
I'm already burned out. I plan
do this [mental
training] as a second workout.
~Ken Davies, Cornell
University heavyweight rower
I thought this information was very useful. I am definitely
going to use it.
~Sharon Erickson, Cornell University varsity athlete
in volleyball
What you think is what's
going to happen. If you
think you're going to
have a bad tournament,
boom!
That's what happens. So
the key to life is to
always
start thinking where you
want to be.
